Unpolished Purple Sapphire Shards with Brushed Sterling Silver Spikes & Designer Clasp.  The          length of this unusual little necklace is 47cm (18.5").    Most unusual to have purple Sapphire and as it is unpolished, it has a slight sparkle which in the industry is referred to as Druzy.  Druzy refers to a layer of tiny, sparkling crystals that form on the surface of a rock or mineral and is often considered very desirable in the Jewellery Industry.  It also indicates that the product is natural and not dyed.  The designer clasp is a feature and can be worn to the side, in front as well as at the back.
