It is not recommended to clean the Silver or the Gold Plated Silver as it is protected with an anti-tarnish product which you might remove.  If you need to buff just use a soft tissue or duster with no product.  Please also avoid spraying your necklace with a perfume or hair spray which is very destructive to both the gem stones and the gold and silver
