Chrysoprase large Unpolished Nuggets, largest 53X23mm with Brushed Sterling Silver Designer Clasp.  The length of this necklace is 48cm (19").  When I discovered this material many years ago I was beyond excited.  It is such a beautiful colour.  I raved so much about it my Brother bought   me a strand of 7mm beads.  The dealer was asking $8,000 (wholesale) for the strand and my       Brother managed to beat him down to $5,000.  The one mine that had been discovered in            Australia closed fairly quickly but has now reopened.  It remains a very sort after, and difficult to  get hold of gem.  The Designer Clasp can be worn as a feature to the side or front of the Necklace as well as the back.  I hope whoever purchases this necklace does so to wear it but I fear it will be bought up by a gem dealer as there is a huge carat weight of  Chrysoprase here in top quality       colour which is worth thousands on the gem market.
